Wave Reading is a metaphor for the voyage we make while reading a book. Therefore, the leaves of the book become layers of the wave that transports the reader into an unknown territory. The human spirit is like a boat carried away on the sea of different meanings and understandings. Reading sets your mind in motion, just like when you begin a journey; it becomes an operation of searching for what is not yet revealed. What makes reading more like a voyage on water than on land is the feeling most readers have, that of floating on water. No journey seems more devoid of specific destination than that made on the sea, when the horizon becomes dimmer and dimmer and there is an acute sense of multiple possibilities. You never know how a voyage might change you, just as you never know the transformations you might undergo when reading a book.
